Kia came to Canine Crusaders through one of our best youth volunteers Emi, who found her on the street and fell in love immediately. Kia looked well cared for, but had no tag. After several ads in the paper went unanswered, Kia was put up for adoption. One Saturday at adoptions, a family came running up screaming, "Therešs our dog, Kia!" It was a family reunion from the start! Kia's owners had found her! They were LUCKY. Moral of the story: ALWAYS keep an identification tag on your dog!
