Gus came to us with a very sad story. His owners were dropping him off at the pound because they got a new puppy to give all of their love to. To make matters even worse, Gus had a collar around his neck that was probably put on him as a puppy, but of course he grew, so it was embedded into his poor little neck. He is a bit shy and leery at first, especially around men, but once he comes around, boy is he a wonderful dog! He is sweet, great-looking, obedient and very loyal to his foster family. Unfortunately, they cannot keep him much longer, as dogs are not allowed where they live. Poor Gus just got stuck with the wrong family the first time around and is now looking for his second chance!
