Tyson is a 3 year old male American Staffordshire Terrior.
Tyson was rescued from South Central LA when he was just a puppy. He was found living in a warehouse where many of the workers were abusing him by kicking him or throwing objects at him. Fortunately for Tyson, one of the workers had a heart, and got in touch with Jean, the founder of Canine Crusaders. Jean agreed to take Tyson and he has been a Canine Crusaders dog ever since! Due to the fact that Jean had so many dogs in her care, and a lack of volunteers, Tyson has been with us for 3 years now.
Now that Canine Crusader's has re-organized and added some additional volunteers, our first priority is to find Tyson a home that he should have gotten years ago.
Tyson is the sweetest, most lovable dog you will ever meet. Many times people are intimidated by his looks, but don't let him fool you he is a barrel of fun and a bunch of love. He loves to run, play and have is belly scratched. Tyson is very quiet - he very rarely barks and gets along great with everyone (including kids!) except other dogs and cats (hey, we can't all be animal lovers!), so he'd like to be the only furry kid in your household
