Dakota was adopted by a loving family in October, 2001. They sent this note and picture in February, 2002: "We just wanted to give you an update on Dakota, which we took in last October. She's doing great. She's gained weight, is completely healthy, and
absolutely loves her new home in Granada Hills. She goes for runs everyday on the golf course, gets all the exercise a lab could want, and has made a bunch of new friends with the local neighborhood dogs who join her.
She's the greatest dog ever! Thanks!
